Biography

In my career as an attorney, I prioritize my clients' well-being and peace of mind. I understand that their legal issues can be sensitive and deeply personal. I ensure that my clients feel comfortable sharing their concerns with me, and I maintain confidentiality while guiding them through the legal process. I make every effort to create a welcoming and accessible environment, which is why my office is conveniently located near public transportation, offers free parking, and includes facilities for individuals with disabilities.

I take pride in the positive feedback I receive from clients. Many have expressed their gratitude for the assistance I provided to their families and the professionalism and kindness I exhibited throughout our interactions. My ultimate goal is to ensure that my clients feel taken care of and that their needs are met.

I focus on estate planning for individuals with up to five million dollars in assets and couples with up to ten million dollars in assets. The major concerns of my clients are preserving their home and maximizing their retirement benefits. I also assist families throughout the estate administration and trust administration processes. I serve clients in Washington, DC, Southern Maryland, and Northern Virginia.

I am a native Washingtonian, and the first in my family to go to college. Driven by my goal to make a difference in the lives of families like mine, I pursued a career in law. After law school, I provided legal assistance to the underrepresented and underserved. I served as a court-appointed special advocate for abused and neglected children and worked at a nonprofit organization that provided legal services to low­ income residents of Washington, D.C.  Additionally, I volunteered to represent single mothers in custody, child support, and domestic violence cases.

After eight years of practicing family law, I transitioned to elder law to continue having a positive impact on my community. Now, I can assist seniors and address the unique legal challenges they face.

As a wife and mother of three teenage girls, my family holds immense importance in my life. I strive to help others while making a living to support my family.
